Let There be Light
A downloadable game for Windows
He woke up again. The dark's thicker tonight.
Something tells him it’s time to escape — maybe for real, maybe not.
You’ll help him walk through the shadows, dodge the noise, follow the light.
Just don’t ask where this all goes. He doesn’t know either.
After all, he's just a kid. And this house? It remembers things.
A short game made for Code for A Cause x Micro Jam
(Only available on Windows)
Control
AWSD keys to Move, and ENTER key on occasional events.
Download Instruction
After downloading the zip file (it's named maro2.zip I forgot to change it), unzip the file, and inside, find a file with the name maro.exe and simply execute it to play the game.
Tips and Notes
- Pay attention to little dusts (gray pixel dots), they might lead you somewhere.
- Please turn up the brightness because the game's mostly pitch black!
- The path and object's positions are always fixed, no matter how many you replay the game.
I haven't 'balance' the game, and there are many flaws currently, like the game's settings that is too dark, there is no definitive clues on where to go, and lack of sounds and object. But, I'll definitely add these after the jam is over. For now, give me your suggestions and critics for this game and I'll appreciate every word of it!
